Have you ever been in the backyard or at the park and seen something like this? Well, one day I was in the backyard with the kids and happened to have my long f2.8 lens on my camera.......so here is the image I was able to capture. Thoughts?
Handheld or with 'pod? Shots like this always trouble me because I want to unpack the tripod really quick and at the same time I dont want to lose the moment... though I don't run into it as often as others I bet since my `longest` lens is a 50mm prime :P
I love how you got him at rest showing the full wingspan with some nice bokeh :) When did you pickup the D200? Also looks like this is basically unprocessed footage, ya?
You're making me think I should be doing this too... maybe it would get me shooting more regularly. Jealous!!!
I shot this with my D200 body and a 70-200 f2.8 set at 200 mm. I think I shot it wide open, but it might have been set at 3.2, but I can check the data. Yes, this is an untouched picture, no photoshop except for the Et in the lower right corner.

That is amazing. My husband is into photography as well but I can see you have a nicer camera than he does. Nice job.
